WEASEL FAT, Carolyn WEASEL FAT Carolyn Weasel Fat – Niookskainihkiaakii passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 62 years.
A wake service will be held at Old Agency Hall, Blood Reserve, Alberta on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. A funeral service will also be at Old Agency Hall on Monday, April 14 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at One Spot Cemetery, Blood Reserve.

WACHTLER, John JOHN B. WACHTLER John B. Wachtler beloved husband of Susan Wachtler, passed away peacefully in Raymond on April 6, 2025.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

STANNARD, Katherine KATHERINE STANNARD 1975 – 2025 Katherine Geneviéve Stannard, beloved daughter of Mavis Lousie Stannard and Barry Anthony Stannard, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2025, at the age of 50 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel in the future where all of Kate’s many friends are welcome. In honouring the family’s wishes, there will be a private interment at a later date.

SEELY, Marcia SEELY The family of MARCIA ALETA SEELY, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, are heartbroken to announce her passing in the early morning of Sunday, April 6, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.
Marcia Aleta Seely, the youngest of four girls (sisters June, Doreen and Beryl) was born on November 7, 1943 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Her family, Charles Nelson “Nels” Stephens and mother Ina Alexandria Stephens, moved to Lethbridge when Marcy was two years old.
Marcy attended school in Lethbridge, graduating from the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute. It was in high school that she met Brent Seely. That meeting led to marriage on August 18, 1962. They celebrated 62 years together in August of last year.
The marriage was blessed with the birth of a daughter, Alana Lee Seely. Alana has two sons, Kayden and Logan, both very special to Marcy.
Marcy spent many years working for Boyd’s Pharmacy and Carleton Cards in Lethbridge.
Cremation is entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

HANCOCK, Patricia “Patty” PATRICIA (PATTY) HANCOCK 1953 – 2025 Patricia Hancock passed away surrounded by family on April 5, 2025, at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge at the age of 71 years.
She is survived by her mother Sadie Hancock, brother Royce Hancock, sister-in-law Yvonne Hancock, sister Gloria Hancock, and brother-in-law Gary Creasser. Patty was predeceased by her father Vincent Hancock in 1996.
Patty’s early life started in Grassy Lake, Alberta, where she was inseparable with younger brother Royce. Sister Gloria arrived when Patty was 6 1/2 years old. As a child, Patty was always very active, curious, and smiling.
Patty spent six years in the Michener Center in Red Deer before coming back to reside with family in 1968 at the age of 15. She attended Dorothy Gooder school for three years until age 18.
Patty resided in group homes with Edenbridge, and, for the last six years, Bluefox was her home and second family.

ROSVOLD, Esther ESTHER ROSVOLD 1934 – 2025 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Esther W. Rosvold of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Glenn Thompson, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 4th, 2025, at the age of 91 years old.
Esther was born in R. M. of Hillsburg, Manitoba, on March 25th, 1934, to parents, Samuel and Ida Zimmer. She attended Rural School in Manitoba. Esther married her first husband Mr. Alvin Rosvold, on October 14, 1955. They were married for 49 years until his passing in 2004.
On June 4th, 2022, Esther married her second husband, Mr. Glenn Thompson and they were together until her passing.
Esther loved to travel, she was involved in lots of church activities and was known as being a great friend and great mother. She loved being outdoors and taking long walks around Henderson Lake, cycling, and dancing when she was younger.
Besides her loving husband Glenn, Esther is survived by her daughter Twyla Rosvold; sons Kim (Ruth) Rosvold and Kevin Rosvold; grandchildren Katherine McInnes and Melissa (Adam) Hewitt, Jeremy (Sandy), Kristen, Josh, Brittany (Rando) LeMaro; great grandchildren, Sam, Hayden and Chloe, Brennen, Nolan, Jasmine, Greysen and Peyton, Emily, Alex, Katie, Avery, Sarah, Charlie, Leo, and Jayne; brother Darcy (Jean) Zimmer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Faith was an important part of Esther’s life; she has now gone on to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Esther’s life will be held at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 STREET SOUTH, LETHBRIDGE, Alberta.

THOMPSON, Constance “Connie” CONSTANCE “CONNIE” THOMPSON 1948 – 2025 Mrs. Constance “Connie” Thompson of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. David Thompson, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the age of 76 years.
In keeping with her wishes, Connie was privately remembered by her family and friends. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
