PANTHER BONE, Joseph PANTHER BONE JOSEPH LLOYD PANTHER BONE, Miikskimisoksistsokom (Iron Cloud), passed away on May 10, 2025 in Cardston, AB at the age of 64 years. A Wake Service for Joe will be held at Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, May 23 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Moses Lake Community Hall, on Saturday, May 24 at 12:00 pm. The interment will follow in Blood Band Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.

HOUTHUYS, Jo-Ann JO-ANN HOUTHUYS 1941 ~ 2025 Mrs. Jo-Ann Elizabeth Houthuys of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Garry Houthuys, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Center on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the age of 84 years.
Jo-Ann was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her family moved to Toronto in 1946 and then settled in Pickering in 1947. Jo-Ann went on to graduate as a nurse in 1963 and worked at Toronto General Hospital. Jo-Ann met and married Garry in 1974 and welcomed her son Andrew in 1979.
In 1983 Jo-Ann, Garry, and Andrew moved to Lethbridge. In 1987, Brandon joined the family. Jo-Ann went back to work in 1990 and put in over 20 years with Alberta Health Services.
In retirement, Jo-Ann volunteered at many places including 10 Thousand Villages, Meals on Wheels, and the gift shop at Lethbridge Regional hospital. Jo-Ann found gratification in helping with the many initiatives at Park Meadows Church.
Jo-Ann was a resilient woman, who loved gardening, travelling and enjoyed nature.

Jo-Ann was predeceased by her parents John and Irene Porter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at PARK MEADOWS BAPTIST CHURCH, 2011 15 Ave N, Lethbridge, Alberta.

KNODEL, Emil EMIL ERHARD KNODEL 1948 ~ 2025 Mr. Emil Knodel, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Karen Craig, passed away in his home on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 76 years.
Emil is survived by his daughters Amanda (Donivan) Hastings, Shannon (Dominik) Knodel; grandchildren Riley and Jeremiah Hastings.

STALKER, Donald “Don” STALKER 1932 – 2025 It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of DONALD “DON” RAY STALKER, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Jennie Stalker, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
Don was born on October 18, 1932 in Taber, Alberta.
He was the beloved husband of Jennie Stalker (née Svrsek) and the loving and extremely proud father of Amy Elizabeth Stalker of Calgary, and sons, Gregory Donald Stalker and Kevin David Stalker of Lethbridge. Don is survived by his brother Doug Stalker, sisters, Verna Wolochaty and Lorna (Mike) Phelan as well as many, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Ruth and Joyce, and his brother Grant.
Don worked at the Canada Agriculture Research Station for 36 years. It was there that he met Jennie and they were married on June 24, 1967. They would be celebrating their 58th anniversary next month.
After they both retired, they enjoyed travelling. They drove across Canada, visited the Czech Republic, Spain, Scotland, China, Peru, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
With respect, we are honouring his request that there will be no funeral.
