CP NewsAlert: New EV rebate program in the works, environment minister says

OTTAWA — Environment Minister Julie Dabrusin tells The Canadian Press the government will reintroduce a consumer rebate program to help make electric vehicles more affordable.

The federal government launched a rebate program on electric vehicles in 2019, but the program was so popular it ran out of funding, leading the government to pause it earlier this year.
