The Lethbridge Bulls thumped the Brooks Bombers 10-1 to end a six-game road trip with a 4-2 record on Wednesday night during Western Canadian Baseball League action.
The Bulls opened the scoring in the second inning when Adonis Bernal scored from second base on a Bernie Socarras double.
Brooks tied the game in the bottom of the fourth inning when Payton Matthews scored on an Abdon Bastardo single.
Brennan McTavish led off the sixth inning with a home run to give the Bulls a 2-1 lead.
Bernal and Stevyn Andrachick later scored on a two-out single by Carter Claerhout to finish a three-run sixth inning for the Bulls and give them a 4-1 lead.
Lethbridge blew the game wide open with a five-run seventh inning.
McTavish doubled to score Jack Kalisky and Will Turner to give the Bulls a 6-1 lead.
Socarras later doubled to score McTavish and get Lethbridge’s seventh run.
Andrachick then hit a two-run home run to make the score 9-1 Bulls.
The Bulls added their 10th run in the ninth inning when Drew Bufford scored on an Andrachick single.
The Bulls are back at home tonight to host the Fort McMurray Giants.
