Local baseball teams have had to move around games with the heavy rainy conditions hitting the area over this weekend.

The Lethbridge Bulls postponed Friday night’s home game with Fort McMurray Giants and no make-up date has been announced but tickets will be honoured on that date.

Watch the Bulls social media feeds for updates on tonight’s home game versus Okotoks.

The Bulls play in Okotoks on Sunday.

The Lethbridge Elks announced on their social media on Thursday that their American Legion conference baseball games with the Helena Senators this weekend have been rescheduled.

Sunday’s double header has been moved to Monday, which begins at 4:30 p.m. at Spitz Stadium, while Saturday’s game will be played at a later date.

The Lethbridge Lakers American Legion ‘A’ team were waiting until today to decide on their Sunday home doubleheader with Medicine Hat.

The Miners began their Billings tournament on Thursday and the hope was for  each team to ger three or four games through weekend and being weather dependent.

Lethbridge is supposed to get 50-75 mm of rain on Saturday after receiving a heavy down pour on Friday.
