LONDON — Callan Foote, a hockey player and former member of Canada’s world junior team, has been found not guilty of sexual assault in an encounter that took place in a London, Ont., hotel room in June 2018.
Two of his ex-teammates — Carter Hart and Alex Formenton — have also been found not guilty of sexual assault in the case.
The ruling is still underway and Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Carroccia has not yet given her decision regarding the two other accused players — Dillon Dube and Michael McLeod.
More coming.
