CP NewsAlert: Talks break off between B.C. government and public service union

VICTORIA — Contract talks between the B.C. government and the union representing public service workers in the province broke off shortly after they began today.

BC General Employees’ Union president Paul Finch says government negotiators showed up three hours late and offered no material improvement over previous contract offers.
