Advance voting has begun and Voting stations at two locations are now open for the 2025 Lethbridge municipal and school board election.

Lethbridge residents can now head to a voting station at the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre or the Cor Van Raay YMCA at the Cavendish Farms Centre.

Advance voting stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9, 10, 11 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20. And on the final day of the Election Period, Oct. 20, an additional voting station will be open at Trinity Reformed Church located at 1100 40 Avenue North.

After voting, residents can receive an “I voted” sticker designed by a local K-12 student as a result of a campaign that the City of Lethbridge alongside local school divisions launched earlier this year to boost voter engagement and civic pride, and to give students a chance to contribute to the democratic experience.

Six different winning designs have been selected and will be available at voting stations. After you vote, pick up your favourite design while supplies last. The selected designs are from:

• Alisa Balan, St. Patrick Fine Arts Elementary School

• Logan Fisher, Gilbert Paterson Middle School

• Luise Koppert, St. Patrick Fine Arts Elementary School

• Isla Nakama, St. Patrick Fine Arts Elementary School

• Ivana Onyeanuna, St. Patrick Fine Arts Elementary School

• Humberto Rempe, Lethbridge Christian School

The Lethbridge.ca/election website has all the information voters need. Including a voting locations interactive map to plan their route.

Voters will cast their ballots to choose:

• The City of Lethbridge’s mayor and eight councillors
