ROMBOUGH, Roger ROMBOUGH ROGER GORDON ROMBOUGH, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of the late Barbara Rombough, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
A Celebration of Roger’s life will take place at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

JOHNSTON, Patrick “Pat” JOHNSTON 1945 – 2025 It is with deep sadness we announce that on October 31, 2025, PATRICK (PAT) JOHNSTON, loving and devoted husband of 56 years to his ‘Sweet Marie’, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care. He was born on July 25, 1945 in Galahad, Alberta to his parents Ralph & Clara Johnston.
In addition to his cherished wife, he is survived by his daughter, Karla (Geoff), and grandsons Liam and Nolan; daughter, Michelle (Scott), and grandsons Haisley, Ewan and Calum. Pat is also survived by his sisters Fran & Patricia; brothers Terry & Brian; sister-in-law Leslie; and sisters-in-law Carol (Victor) & May (David), along with many nieces & nephews he held close to his heart. He is predeceased by his parents; sister Sylvia and brother-in-law Roger, niece Wendy & nephew Laurie; sister Marlene & brother-in-law Louis; brother David; brothers-in law David and Paul; and brother-in-law Rene.
Pat was dedicated to his 27-year career with Kirk’s Tire where he thrived in a family owned & operated business that he always held in the highest regard. His time there brought him many happy memories that he treasured long into his retirement. He valued & truly loved his job, and spending time with those he worked with.
In following with his faith, he dedicated his life through servant leadership to many boards & committees; SABA, Lethbridge Community Board, Martha House, Knights of Columbus Council #5726 & Camp Columbus. He leaves behind a brotherhood of Knights who we thank for your many years of memories & the visits that you made in recent weeks.
Pat felt very blessed for the life that he lived and the family & friends that he had. We find comfort in knowing his legacy will live on through the example he set in his loving marriage, rich family life, many treasured friendships, as well as his beloved work & community involvement.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Santiago Torres celebrating. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Pat’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
A private Family Graveside will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.

CARPENTER, Buzz “Darrell” CARPENTER It is with profound sadness, yet gentle relief, that we announce the peaceful passing of BUZZ (DARRELL) CARPENTER, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the age of 72 years.
Buzz is survived by his devoted wife Wendy; sons: Jody (Andrea) Riley and Ryder; Ryan (Erin), Hunter and London; and Jesse; daughter Bailee (Steven) McKenna; and siblings: Lynda (Jim) Selman, David (Sheri), Russell (Yvonne), and John (Pat); as well as many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Doreen.
Above all, Buzz loved his family. He was incredibly proud of all that his children had accomplished. His grandkids were the light of his life, and he enjoyed every visit with them.
We have wonderful memories camping with him; he was in his element, fishing and just enjoying nature.
The boys have many great memories going hunting with their Dad; many stories have been shared by them through the years.
We all know he loved his Harley!! When he could no longer ride, he was thrilled to see his boys pull up on theirs.
Rest easy, sweet Buzz. You fought long and hard for many years.

MILLER, Marion MILLER MARION MILLER, beloved wife of the late Elwin Leroy Miller, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 91 years.

DUBAN, Annie ANNIE DUBAN 1926 ~ 2025 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anna (Annie) Duban of Lethbridge, Alberta. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Duban. She peacefully passed away at the age of 98, on Oct 31, 2025 at St. Therese Villa.
She is survived by her son John (Barb deceased). Michelle (James), Yvan (Robin) and great grandson Rumi, Julian (Christy); Her son David (Mary Ann). Lana (Laine) and great granddaughters Kaila and Sophia. Sara (Adrian). Daughter Marion (Dennis), Nicole (Dakota) and great granddaughter Olivia. Daughter in law Heather (son Harry deceased). Justin (Katelyn). Lindsey and great grandchildren Brynnley and Cohen. Sister Mary Small (Fred deceased), niece Gwen, nephew Jerry, and their families.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph, son Harry, and daughter in law Barbara.
Anna was born on Dec 22, 1926 in Lysiatychi, Ukraine . She came to Canada in 1948 with her sister Mary and parents Motria and Trochym Hawa.
Prior to coming to Canada, her family had been traveling and working, escaping and surviving through war and famine. Living 2 years in a refugee camp in Northern Germany. Traveling finally by boat from Hamburg to Halifax, arriving at Lethbridge AB by train. Working with her family on a sugar beet farm. Marrying in 1949 and living on their family farm near Kipp. Caring for a variety of farm animals and her large bountiful garden. She had a very proud Ukrainian heritage. Always cooking and sharing love through food. From perogies to cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, and baking was always available for sampling.
She resided at St. Therese Villa, where she was very well liked, known as “Baba” to all.
She showed tremendous strength and compassion throughout her life. A strong work ethic, a skilled seamstress, an astute gardener, an amazing cook that always made sure her guests had something to eat. Even in her retirement she worked hard. Exercising, gardening, creating cross stitch and crocheting works of art for her family. She will always be remembered for her caring nature, love for her family and her dedication in her many pursuits in life.
We would like to thank the staff at St. Therese for their exceptional treatment and care and walk of honor for Baba!
A Service will be held at 10a.m Thursday November 6 at Saint Peter & Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. 643 12B st N. Interment will follow at Mountainview cemetery with reception following at the church hall.
