HALIFAX — Brad Jacobs beat Matt Dunstone 6-5 to win the men’s final at the Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials.
Jacobs and his Calgary-based team swept the best-of-three matchup against Dunstone’s Winnipeg side.
Earlier in the day, Ottawa’s Rachel Homan won the women’s final.
Jacobs outscored Dunstone 9-8 in Game 1 a night earlier at Scotiabank Centre.
The 2014 Olympic champion will wear the Maple Leaf again at the Milan Cortina Games in February.
He’ll be joined by vice Marc Kennedy, second Brett Gallant and lead Ben Hebert.
