Convicted terrorist Said Namouh still poses risk of violent extremism: parole board

MONTREAL — A Quebec man convicted in 2009 of plotting international terrorist attacks with a group tied to al-Qaida has been denied parole.
The Parole Board of Canada concluded Dec. 9 that Said Namouh still poses a risk that he will violently reoffend for ideological reasons if he is released.
Namouh, 52, was handed a life sentence in 2010 for four terrorism-related charges in connection with a vaguely defined plan to bomb targets in Germany and Austria.
The Moroccan-born man was involved in an organization called the Global Islamic Media Front, and conspired with its members to set off an explosive in a public place.
The parole board decision notes that a 2022 psychological assessment found Namouh showed few signs of deradicalization and posed a continued risk to violently reoffend for political or religious reasons.
The board noted he has made some progress but remains unwilling to address the underlying causes of his radicalization and still justifies the use of violence in some circumstances.

Perhaps there is some common sense left somewhere in our penal system!
Experts do warn that we have sleeper cells in Canada, some who were radicalized after arriving in Canada, others who crossed into Canada illegally across our porous borders, after crossing legally or illegally at the US/Mexican border under President Bidens open borders policies that saw what was believed to be a few hundred thousand high risk refuges/illegals cross who disappeared after. Some Chinese, some Afghans, some Iranian, along with several other anti- western nationals.
Many are not aware that Al-Qaeda and IS have been in South America for a couple of decades, collaborating with Cartels and organized crime factions there, as well as Hezbollah and Hamas!
Thankfully we have avoided major attacks on our nation so far and the intelligence services working with allies have received intel to make arrests before attacks happen!
Now with all of the pro-Palestinian radicals funded by the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Iran and Qatar, one has to wonder if we will see a fateful day from a terrorist attack on our soil.
It is like sales . . . the more people you pitch to, the more chance of a sale!
Australia was a wake-up call for all that the radical Muslims are coming for not just Jews, but the West! Yet . . . Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood are pumping billions into Canada and the US, into universities/colleges, into media, into businesses, and into some political parties . . . all to gain control to make our Nations Islamic in the end. This is the radicals goal and they do not hide it!
Thank you for commons sense in keeping this radicalized terrorist behind bars when he is treated far beyond the torture, rape and starvation the terrorists have shown to use to incarcerate hostages!
