Pedri injured in Barcelona’s match against Slavia Prague in Champions League

Barcelona midfielder Pedri had to be replaced in the second half of Barcelona’s 4-2 win at Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Spain international apparently hurt a muscle in his right leg and was substituted by Dani Olmo in the 61st minute.

Pedri went down near midfield during a breakaway by the hosts. He was attended by Barcelona doctors before leaving the field on his own.

The midfielder had an assist in Fermín López’s goal in the first half.

Barcelona played without star forward Lamine Yamal because of a yellow card suspension.

Barcelona’s next match is against Oviedo on Sunday in the Spanish league.
