The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge is inviting the community to their second annual 5-Stop Gallery Hop tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. to enjoy a variety of work done by southern Alberta artists.
This year’s hop features the Trianon Gallery, L.A. Gallery, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Casa, and Legend Gallery.
Manager of Engagement with the AAC, Will Big Bull says they are encouraging participants to pick up a map to stamp at each location for a chance to win a prize.
“It’s totally free. Some of these galleries typically charge an admission fee, but for this gallery hop it’s free and open to the public of all ages,” says Big Bull.
He says each location will showcase a wide variety of work by southern Alberta artists, including painting, photography, ceramics, and mixed media.
The 5-Stop Gallery Hop highlights both emerging and established artists and offers an excellent opportunity for the public to engage with the vibrancy of the local arts community.
