Here are all the Toronto officers charged in a corruption and organized crime probe

Eight current and retired Toronto police officers have been charged in an organized crime and corruption investigation.

The sprawling investigation led by York regional police alleges Toronto officers provided personal information used to carry out crimes including shootings, robberies and a murder plot. Investigators allege some officers also trafficked cocaine and accepted bribes to support illegal cannabis dispensaries.

Toronto police Chief Myron Demkiw says the accused officers have been suspended and he will seek to suspend at least four of them without pay, in line with policing laws.

Here are the officers accused in the investigation.

TIMOTHY BARNHARDT

The 56-year-old constable from Mississauga faces 17 charges, the most of any of the officers accused in the investigation. They include charges related to cocaine trafficking, bribery and weapons.

ROBERT BLACK

The 42-year-old sergeant from Vaughan faces four charges. They include conspiring to obstruct justice, two drug trafficking charges and counselling an uncommitted fraud.

JOHN MADELEY SR.

The 55-year-old retired constable from Barrie is charged with breach of trust, four counts of unauthorized use of a computer, possession of a prohibited firearm and device, and possession of more than $5,000 worth of property obtained by crime.

The 29-year-old constable from Vaughan, and the son of John Madeley Sr., faces two charges: breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer.

CARL GRELLETTE

The 49-year-old sergeant from Vaughan faces four charges in the investigation. They include breach of trust and harassment by repeatedly following another person.

SAURABJIT BEDI

The constable from Caledon faces several conspiracy charges and one substance trafficking charge. The 38-year-old is accused of conspiring to obstruct justice, falsely accuse a person, accept a bribe and traffic a substance.

DEREK McCORMICK

The 57-year-old from Toronto is accused of four counts of theft under $5,000, along with charges of breach of trust and obstruction of justice. He is a constable.

ELIAS MOUAWAD

The 24-year-old constable from Mississauga faces two charges: breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer.
