Community and non profits in Lethbridge County encouraged to apply for up to $10,000 in grants

Community organizations, charities and local schools in Lethbridge County are encouraged to apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding.

This grant funding will be available under the Community Benefit Fund, a partnership between Lethbridge County and the Stirling Wind Project, which was established in 2024 as Potentia Renewables Inc.’s commitment to communities where their wind turbines are located.

Their Stirling Wind Project has 14 turbines in Lethbridge County.

The Fund supports capital projects, community events and art and education programs which align in various areas including education and science; environmental enhancement; social welfare; emergency relieve; health and wellness.

Completed applications must be submitted by March 1. Packages can be found on Lethbridge County’s website https://lethcounty.ca/p/funding or at their office located at #100, 905 4 Avenue S.
