DUNCAN, Irvin IRVIN DUNCAN 1930 ~ 2026 Mr. Irvin Duncan (to his friends Irv, Irvin or I.W) was dispatched to his final destination on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
He left, boots on, in the wink of an eye and rumour has it he’s travelling those highways of gold driving the biggest, shiniest rig in heaven. See you later Dad!
Irvin is survived by his son Keith (Sandra) Duncan, his daughter Diana (Arnie) Fuhrmann as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

SMOLNICKY, Aranka SMOLNICKY, Aranka Margaret (nee Racz) December 12, 1942 – February 22, 2026 It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Aranka Smolnicky of Calgary, Alberta, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the age of 83 years.
Aranka is survived by her daughter Diane Bontorin (David), son Dwayne Smolnicky, grandchildren Travis (Amelia), Alanna, and Ryan (Monika); and one great-grandson Lucas. She is also survived by her brothers Tibor and Louis Jr. (Bev); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and nephew Jason Racz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Springbank Heritage Club (244168 Range Road 33, Calgary, AB T3Z 2E7).
