BAUTISTA, Kian KIAN BAUTISTA 2002 ~ 2026 Mr. Kian Bautista of Fort Macleod, beloved son of Christoper and Kristel Bautista and brother to Kyle Bautista and Charm Bautista, passed away surrounded by family at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the age of 23 years.
In lieu of a formal funeral service, family and friends are invited to a viewing between 2:00pm and 10:00pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

MALABANAN, Leslie LESLIE SABINE MALABANAN 2006 ~ 2026 Leslie Sabine Malabanan of Lethbridge, beloved daughter to Willy and Elizabeth and best friend to her sister Ashley, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 19 years.

RELKE, Betty “Boop” BETTY “BOOP” RELKE 1930 ~ 2026 The family of Betty “Boop” Doreen Relke sadly announce her passing at the age of 95 years young on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Chinook Regional Hospital.

Followed by a come and go tea at Sierras of Courtyard Terrace, 2020-32 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Regina Riverside Memorial Gardens columbarium.

FICEK, Chancelor FICEK CHANCELOR RAY FICEK, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the age of 27 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH – 411 11 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Steve Bateman officiating.

TOETERS, Gerard TOETERS GERARD TOETERS went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Dad is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Florence (Paul) Bouwkamp and their son Steve (Jocelyn) and their children Anna, Jason, Ayla and Della. Virginia (Clinton) Polec and their children Scott (Jaliah) and Abby. Marcel (Bernita) Toeters and their children Kadin (Olivia) and their daughter Brynlee, Kyle, Kamryn and Kody. Dad is also survived by his sisters Margaret (Fred) Bosch and Helen Toren, sister-in-law Koos (Dick) Van Ree, brother-in-law John (Kathy) Van Westenbrugge as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gerard greatly missed and was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Nellie, and their infant daughter Betty Ann, his parents Jan and Marianne Toeters as well as a number of brothers and sisters-in-law.
Dad was born on May 4, 1944 in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Dad met Mom and they were married on November 15, 1969.
Before her passing, Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling, camping and hiking together. Dad was a man of many talents and loved to fix and tinker with things, he always loved a gadget. Woodworking, photography, fly fishing and fly tying, gardening (even though he always said he had a black thumb) and most recently cooking were some of his talents and hobbies.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tom Albaugh officiating. A Reception will follow in the fellowship hall at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Gerard will be laid to rest during a private Graveside Service in Royal View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, our family requests that donations in memory of Gerard be made to the Bringing Hearts Home Cardiac Campaign (crhfoundation.ca).
