FORBES, Catherine “Cathy” FORBES February 19, 1952 – April 2, 2026 Our hearts are shattered by the sudden yet peaceful passing of our dear wife, mom, grandma, and Mammo, CATHERINE “CATHY” ANN FORBES. Surrounded by her loving family, Cathy passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the age of 74.
Cathy is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Kenneth H. Forbes, and her sons and their partners: Ken (Corrie) Forbes, Daniel Forbes (Nancy Voort), and Timothy Forbes (Tabitha Rommel). She was a proud and much-loved grandma to Mackenzie (Dakota) Forbes-Postman, Jensen (Trent) Mathieu, Tannis (David) Vandebeek, Ysabella Innes-Forbes, Tavish Innes-Forbes, and Kobe Forbes. Cathy was also a delighted great-grandmother to Lucas and Everleigh Vandebeek, and Frankie and Gracie Mathieu.
She is also survived by her siblings Diana (John) Lowther, Susan Zook, David (Sharon) Crabb, and Donald Crabb (Christine Kerber); and by her brothers-in-law Alexander Forbes (Lori-Jean Schlenker), Bruce (Marg) Forbes and Donald (Denise) Forbes. Cathy held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents Bill and Iris Crabb; her in-laws Alexander and Tykie Forbes; and her siblings-in-law Thomas Zook and Lily Crabb.
Cathy touched the hearts of all who crossed her path, but above all, she was deeply loved by her family. In her own words: “Family is most important to me always.”
In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, a private Family Service will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 1:30 P.M. The Service will be livestreamed, and may be viewed on our website under Cathy’s obituary.

TOETERS, Gerard TOETERS GERARD TOETERS went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tom Albaugh officiating. A Reception will follow in the fellowship hall at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Gerard will be laid to rest during a private Graveside Service in Royal View Cemetery.
