Mrs. Beverly Jean Pashuk of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Walter Pashuk passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the age of 81 years. TARA LYNN BULL SHIELDS passed away on the Blood Reserve, AB on July 28th, 2014 at the age of 34 years. JEAN GROVES, beloved wife of Mel Groves and mother to Brian & Don Groves, passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Funeral arrangements to be announced when completed.

Margaret Josephine Metcalfe

February 5, 1925 – July 27, 2014
Marg was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Mary and Joseph Chervinski. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan J. Metcalfe in 1995. Marg will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Donna (Bill), Corrine (Doug), Bernice (Tim), and Aileen (Wes); her eight grandchildren: Rob (Tam), Suzi, Scott (Holly), Jeff (Nicole), Jud (Becky), Tina (Tim), Jennifer (Andrew) and Evan (Kathy), as well as nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two sisters. Marg was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and six sisters. Marg was a keen athlete throughout her life. She played softball for the Woolworth Babes and played hockey on tube (speed) skates. Marg was an avid and skilled bowler, golfer and curler. She enjoyed watching various sports, and she took delight in following her children¹s and grandchildren¹s activities and endeavours. She will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humor, her stoic manner, and her independent personality. At Marg¹s request, there will not be a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Arthritis Society, The Alberta Cancer Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

PATRICK CARROLL

1955 ~ 2014
Mr. Patrick Carroll of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Tammy Carroll, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the age of 58 years. He was a gentle man who lived for his family, friends and beloved puppy, Lacey. He spent his fun times fishing, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. Patrick is survived by his two sons David (Danielle) and Darcy (Kirstin); his five grandchildren Brooklyn, Hayli, Owen, Gavin & Carson; sister Brenda (Will) Kradovill; brothers Jim (Diane) Carroll, Brian (Lorraine) Carroll, Les Carroll & Stuart (Cindy) Carroll. He was predeceased by his parents Earl & Phyllis Carroll, and sister in-law Joyce Carroll. We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dear husband and father Douglas William Townsend, in his home on the evening of Sunday, July 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife Nora, and children Derek (Deanna; children Jack and Evan), Kimberly (Yoeri; children Sarah and Finn), and Scott (Angela; children Greta and Maeve). He is also survived by his two older sisters Shirley and Barbara.
