Beatrice Mary Bogusky (nee Pack), passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her very missed daughter Val ³Renae²; parents Renon and Beatrice Pack; brother Kelvin (Irene) Pack. Mary was born on October 15, 1943 in Lethbridge to Renon and Beatrice Pack. At the age of fifteen, Mary finished grade school to grade nine, and then proceeded to secretarial school. After finishing that, she married Frank Bogusky Jr. and they started a family. After many years, Mary moved and resided in Vauxhall, where she wanted to stay close to her grandchildren and the wonderful people in the community. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything else. She was able to give them sixteen years of her sweets, love and kindness with all she had. She loved many other children and their families in the community and held them dear to her heart, along with her extended family and wonderful friends. Mary will be remembered for her famous words of ³Right on² and ³Awesome². STACY LEANNE BURNETT, loving wife of 30 years to Gary Burnett of Lethbridge Alberta, passed away at home surrounded by family and love on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born July 3,1964 in Magrath and spent a cherished childhood on the McIntyre Ranch, where her cowgirl spirit was born and thrived. She became a wonderful and strong mother with the birth of her daughter Nadine and married the love of her life Gary and his son Jeremy and completed our perfect family with the birth of their son, Kyle. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Gary Burnett, father Laurence Bengry of Magrath, her children and grand children: Nadine & Sean (Brody), Kyle & Vanessa (Alexis & Liam), Jeremy & Holly (Willow & Sierra). ERNEST A. FANTIN (1931-2015)
Mr. Ernest Alfred Fantin of Blairmore, Alberta, beloved husband of Anne Fantin and devoted father of Debbie and Darren, was called to be with the Lord on March 7, 2015 at the age of 83 years.
Ernie owned and operated Fantin’s Funeral Chapel for several decades as well as being the mayor of Blairmore, running the ambulance service, a proud member of the Blairmore Legion and noted officer and Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus to name but a few roles he was involved in. He was the recipient of many awards including the prestigious Minister¹s Senior Service Award and the CNP Community Volunteer Award. He devoted his life to helping those in need and he shall be forever admired and dearly missed. He is survived by his devoted wife, Anne “Gina” Fantin; his beloved children, Debbie Fantin of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Darren Fantin of Calgary; his cherished grandchildren, Lindsay (Jordan Hine) Forgeron of Halifax, NS, Caitlin Fantin and Hanna Fantin of Calgary; sister, Evelyn Pye of Ontario; sister-in-law, Jean Fantin of Edmonton; his nephews & nieces, Rick (Karen),Renee, Richard, Rainer, Alan, Mark (Sophia), Cameron, Ian, PJ, Laurie (Alan), Sandy (Greg), Donna (Lawrence),Jessica, Patricia, Jean, Bella and Glenda; his extended family as well as the many friends he made throughout his lifetime. DONALD ROBERT FARRELL of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Wendy Farrell, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of –66 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Kevin Farrell of Lethbridge, Cam (Bobbi) Farrell of Lethbridge and Andrea Farrell of Lethbridge, as well as three grand children Laylin, Shaemus and Zane. He is also survived by one brother Bill (Jan) Farrell of Lethbridge and one sister Deb Farrell of Coalhurst, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by parent Cyril and Patricia and sister Barb. Don was born January 24, 1949 in Lethbridge and was raised and educated here. After Graduating from LCI High School, he went to work with his Dad in Farrell’s Floors. Don was one of the first Graduating Class at NAIT for Floor Covering. He eventually took over his Father’s business and continued to run it till his passing. Don liked to camp, fish and spend time at his summer place at Koocanusa. He was a good Husband and Dad who was proud of his roots. He was always available to help others in need. Don will be sadly missed by his Family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date. Mr. Earl Ingbert Foss of Foremost (Bow Island Pleasant View Lodge) passed away peacefully with his wife, Rose and family by his side on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the age of 91 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Yvonne (Andy) VanLanduyt, Wayne (Carlene) Foss, Deanna (Dennis) Huisman and Rosanne (Dale) Webster; his grandchildren, Christine (Nathan) and their daughter, Lorelei; David; Melanie and her daughter, Lauren; Alissa; Cara (Lee) and their children Cole, Rhys and Chase; Justin; Matthew (Raylene); Danny (Amanda); Bradley (Alyson) and their children, Kalus, Draaven, Dhaylin and Ashtyn; and Cody; two sisters, Zada Beingessner and Darlene (Ed) Coates as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice and Joe Foss; one grandson, Dalton Foss and his stepfather, Ted Koller. Growing up Earl had various jobs that took him many places. As his heart was always in farming, he returned home where he met the love of his life. Earl and Rose (Harty) were married November 3, 1949. They celebrated 65 years of marriage. In his adult years, Earl¹s happiest days were spent farming and enjoying time with family and friends. His free time was spent playing bridge, hunting, fishing, curling and golf. His passion for golf continued right up until this past year. Their travels took them to Hawaii and Mesa, Arizona where they met and made many good friends. Earl was well known to always have a new joke for those who had time to listen. He had a good sense of humor that carried right to his last days at Pleasant View Lodge and Bow Island Health Center. A private family funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Interment will take place in the Foremost Cemetery. ROBERT ANDERSON HAMILTON, beloved sweetheart and eternal companion of Patricia Maude McCormack Hamilton, and father extraordinaire of Gayle (Richard Low), Robert (Patricia), Janice (D’Arcey West), Jeffrey (Donna) and Brent (Celeste), grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of 31 passed away peacefully Friday, March 20, 2015, at the age of 88. Born in Magrath, Alberta, December 13, 1926 to John Finlay and Anna Leah Anderson Hamilton, the youngest of 11 children: Janet (Harold) Boucher, Estella (Leo) Cook, Jay (Vinessa) Hamilton, Anna Lucille, Hazel (Mike) Cook, Vere (Elsie) Hamilton, George (Dorothy) Hamilton, James (Lorna) Hamilton, Max Hamilton and Alvin (Corinne) Hamilton who all predeceased him. Survived by sister-in-law Roxie (Max) Hamilton. He was a faithful, dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and magnified every service opportunity. His fulltime mission in the Canadian Mission from 1947-1949 was a highlight of his life. As young marrieds, ten years were spent in Picture Butte where Bob worked for the Canadian Sugar Factory. His post-secondary education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah provided exciting and stimulating experiences for the young family. They permanently moved to Lethbridge in the spring of 1961. Bob’s teaching career spanning 33 years began at Hutterville Colony, continued at Winston Churchill High School and finished at the Lethbridge Community College. He enjoyed working at Christensen Salmon Funeral Home in his retirement years. Love, Friendship and Service were hallmarks of his life. He unconditionally loved everyone and friends were friends forever. It is with great sadness that the family of ELDON GENE HIND BULL announces his sudden passing after a brief illness, on Monday, March 9th, 2015 at the age of 38 years in Lethbridge, Alberta. Eldon is survived by his father Aaron Tallow; wife Amanda Gros Venture Boy; Aunties Brenda and Keri Tallow. Eldon will be lovingly remembered by his children Taylor, Cyles, Ethan, Jaden and Chantal. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings, Dallas (Tracy), Denver (Vanessa), Tara (Bobby), Mallory (Rodney), Martell (Marissa) and Heather Hind Bull. Eldon will be dearly missed by nephews and nieces, Tyrese, McKaya, Carl, Taneesha, Hailey, Koda, Mckenzie, Mercedes, Ryder, Shaylyn (Kayden), Kalus, Draaven, Nyssa, Telon, Kindred and great nephew Devilyn. He will be deeply missed by numerous cousins, friends and team mates. Eldon was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend. He was an outstanding athlete with a love for sports, and was dedicated and passionate about fast ball. As a loving father, Eldon went above and beyond to secure the health, wellness and safety of his children, who meant the world to him. He had a kind demeanor and a gentle soul. He always willingly gave his time and attention to family and friends. He welcomed everyone with a big smile and opened his door to all. Eldon had an ear to lend, listened keenly and always had great advice for anyone. His ability to make you laugh and smile was matched only by his huge and loving heart. He never turned anyone away, and he made sure his presence was always felt. He truly was a kind, loving and gentle giant, in more ways than one. Eldon will be sadly missed for his smiling face and whole hearted laugh by his closest family and friends. Eldon was predeceased by his mother Caroline Tallow; grandparents Eva and Allan Hind Bull; special aunty Bernice Hind Bull; special uncle W. MCKENZIE, JEREMY March 28, 1998 – March 17, 2015

Our hearts are broken and it seems as though even the angels are weeping. Jeremy McKenzie, at the tender age of 16, our loving son left us suddenly on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He will be greatly missed by his sister Jordan, his parents Joan Hollihan and Wade McKenzie, grandmother Molly Hollihan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Dale Hollihan, Dale and Irma McKenzie. Jeremy had a one-of-a-kind personality that included a unique sense of humour, a kind and caring heart and a great love for his family and his three dogs (“the girls”). Jeremy really loved his auto body class, and had a passion for vinyl records, photography, glass blowing, baseball and long boarding. He loved to travel with his family and explored China, Hawaii, Greece, Mexico, and many cities across Canada and U.S. These great vacations have given us many special memories we will treasure forever. The Honourable Mr. Justice Roy Edward Bogusky

Passed away, after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Beloved husband of 48 years to Irene (nee Afaganis). Loving father of Tanya (Paul Ghazar), Katherine, and Leanne. Proud grandpa to Adelaide and Estelle. Survived by his brothers Don (Dorothy), Frank (Joyce) and Alf (Ann). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mildred Bogusky (nee Kostelnik). In 1973, at the age of 34, Roy was the youngest appointed Judge to the Ontario Court of Justice. He served 17 years in Dryden, Ontario and 19 years in Newmarket, Ontario until the time of his retirement in 2009. His family always came first. We knew when dad was around, we would be loved, protected, and there would be many laughs. He summed everything up near the end with, “We had a good run, didn’t we? If I had asked for anything more out of life, I’d have been greedy”. A Celebration of Roy’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, 185 Canyon Blvd West, Lethbridge. 403-381-4653.
