Seven players from the area have been selected as Football Alberta’s Bantam Bowl South All-Stars.
They will represent southern Alberta in the Bantam Bowl game, set for the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium on May 18, after concluding selection camp last weekend at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
Of the top graduating Grade 9 Bantam football players, 42 were selected overall.
The local players picked include: running backs Kody Martyshuk (Lethbridge Jr. Rams) and Timothy Prankard (Lethbridge Jr. Coyotes); receivers Parker Graves (Raymond Comets) and Jack Halvorson (Lethbridge Rams); defensive lineman Tyler Lentz (Lethbridge Jr. Rams); linebacker Evan Snedden (Lethbridge Jr. Rams); and defensive back Connor Lozza (Lethbridge Coyotes).
