The Lethbridge Hurricanes acquired a fourth round draft pick in the 2018 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for defenseman Kade Jensen.
In two seasons with the Hurricanes, Jensen appeared in 110 games, collecting 23 points (4 goals, 19 assists) along with 132 penalty minutes. Last season, the Calgary, Alberta product set career highs scoring 19 points (4 goals, 15 assists) in 64 games while collecting 77 penalty minutes, finishing third in scoring among Hurricanes defenseman.
The 18-year-old rearguard was originally selected by the Hurricanes in the fifth round, 103 overall in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.
