June Gough
1926 – 2018
June Gough (nee Gibb), beloved wife of the late Wayne Gough, passed away in Taber on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 91 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, April 26, 2018 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and also at the church prior to the funeral service on Friday, April 27, 201 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. June is survived by her eight children Gloria (Jim) Dick of Sherwood Park, Clifford (Pat) Gough of Grantsville, Utah, Lynn (Larry) Taylor of Taber, Gladys (Allen) Litchfield of Orem, Utah, Rodney (Karen) Gough of Taber, Susan (Bruce) Law of West Valley City, Utah, Melanie (Robin) Hansen of Barnwell and Corilee (Kevin) Bishop of Gilbert, Arizona; forty four grandchildren and one hundred twenty six great grandchildren. June is also survived by brothers-in-law Gary (Delores) Gough of Lethbridge and Brian (Ronnie) Gough of Lethbridge; sisters-in law Inez Leavitt of Cardston, Peggy Gough of Airdrie, Dianne (Ken) Chipman of St. George, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, all of her siblings, and her granddaughter Amy Anderson.
June was the eleventh child of twelve children born to Sarah Ann (nee Bridge) and Milton Herbert Gibb on June 19, 1926. She married Wayne Gough on February 2, 1946 and they were blessed with eight children. June was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully blessing the lives of others by her service and musical talents. June and Wayne served two missions for the church in England and Salt Lake City Utah. She loved music and encouraged her children and grandchildren to develop their talents. She enjoyed hearing her family share their accomplishments.
Family meant everything to her and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. June loved having her family around her and never seemed to tire of it. She was an excellent cook and had the ability to make a delicious meal at a moments notice. She made the best chocolate cake, cinnamon buns, cookies and pies. She lived a life of love and service to her family, friends and church. June’s legacy and the way she delivered it with such pure, selfless devotion will live on in our hearts forever. She enriched, inspired and influenced every part of our lives and for that we are ever so grateful.

Mrs. Karen Cahoon of Taber, beloved wife of Mr. Allan Cahoon, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 69 years.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear son, brother, grandson, uncle, and companion, SHAUN CALLING LAST – Aatahmiikskiikoah, on April 14, 2018 in Fort Macleod.
Shaun was born on January 6, 1993 in Cardston to Deborah (Huestis) Calling Last and Orland Calling Last. He leaves to mourn his loving companion Kashtin Eagle Bear; siblings, Souta, Arla, Rose and Justin.; nieces and nephews, Ava, Breanna, Mya, Aja, Marvin Lee Jr., Brayden, Jacoby, Kenny, Rowan, Walker and Aoniiwataa Calling Last; Grandmothers Jane Huestis of Seattle, Washington and Lorette Glasheen.; Great uncle Leonard Soloway; Great Aunt’s Jesse Bird and Myrna Chief Moon; Aunts Laverna (Larry) Leather and Verna Raw Eater (Ronald), Norma Stimson ; uncle Kenny Huestis; cousin Scott Calling Last; Relatives of the Raw Eater and Solway families of Siksika; Calling Last, Bird, Gambler and Bad Man of Kainai.
Shaun was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth Huestis, Art & Violet (Raw Eater) Calling Last.
Shaun was a friendly and outgoing person. He was raised on the family ranch on the Blood Reserve where he was taught the love of horses and hard work from his grandpa Art. He came from a family that was deeply rooted in Blackfoot spirituality and beliefs. With the passing of his grandfather, he was often depended on to take charge in putting up the family’s tipi for ceremonies. After leaving the family ranch he found employment with AC Industries and Queens Tavern in Fort Macleod. Shaun also enjoyed playing his guitar, making music and spending time with his love Kashtin. At the time of his passing Shaun was employed at Queens Tavern in Fort Macleod, where he met new and old friends. He always had a smile for all those he met.
In our hearts, your memory will linger, always tender, fond and true; there’s not a day, dear Shaun, we will not think of you!
A Wake Service will be at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, April 25th from 7:00 p.m. all night. The Funeral Service will be at the Senator Gladstone Hall on Thursday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Calling Last Cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Dolezal of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jerry Dolezal, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at ST. MARTHA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia Blvd. W., Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father Salvador Ahumada, celebrant.

McCOLL
SARAH (SADIE) McCOLL, beloved wife of the late Andrew McColl of Lethbridge passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2018, just days short of her 87th birthday.
Sadie was born in 1931 in Glasgow, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada with her mother, Mary McPherson in 1947. Sadie met and then married the love of her life Andrew on October 6, 1951. They celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary before Andrew passed in 2012. She was a Past Matron of the Maple Leaf Chapter No. 7 OES.
Sadie is survived by daughters Lesley Potts of Lethbridge, Laurie (Lawrence) McCune of Lethbridge, and Lynn (Chris) Beech of Courtenay, BC; grandchildren Andrew Potts (Sarah Swiekatun), Lindsay (Tyler) Pyke, Sarah McCune (Marcus Young), Andrea (Jordan) Perrett, Caylee Dutnall (David Ward) and McKenzie Beech; great-granddaughter Ainsley Ward; and nieces Heather Cooke and Donnie (Daryl) Thompson. She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Mary and Jack Smith, brother-in-law Jack McColl and sister-in-law Betty Batterson.
A Memorial Service will be held at ST. ANDREW’S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818 – 5Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Hugh Jack officiating.
