After an opening loss at the 13th Annual Vauxhall Jets Haven
Tournament Thursday night, the Lethbrige Elks were forced to take the
day off Friday.
So were all the other teams in the tournament as rain washed out the
schedule with action slated to continue today.
The Elks — who lost 11-5 to the Jets Thursday — will kick off the
games today at 2 p.m. as they face Medcine Hat. Medicine Hat takes the
field right afterward to play the Great Falls Chargers at 4:30 p.m.
The host Jets wind up today’s play when they take on the Chargers at
7 p.m.
Play resumes Sunday at 10 a.m. when the Jets and Medicine Hat clash.
The Elks and Chargers follow at 12:30 p.m.
The third/fourth place game goes at 3 p.m. Sunday with the
championship game to follow at 5 p.m.
