The Lethbridge Southern Express female midget hockey team was a perfect 3-0 on the road last weekend.
The Express edged the Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs 4-3 then downed the Sherwood Park Fury 4-1 and blanked the Leduc North Central Impact 5-0.
The wins put the Express into a tie for fourth place and one point behind the Okotoks Rocky Mountain Raiders, who the Express will play this weekend in Medicine Hat.
In the win over Red Deer, Kendal Pierson scored all four Express goals, the first on a penalty shot.
The Express fell behind 1-0 to the Fury in Sherwood Park, but two goals from Pierson and one each from Amy Craig and Quicey Williams powered Lethbridge to the win.
Against Leduc, goaltender Haley Whelen made 13 saves in the shutout win, while Brittney Kambeitz, Kennedy King, Craig, Pierson and Janaya Laqua provided the offence.
