The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns ringette team had a busy weekend with three games on the schedule.

The Horns went 2-1, winning their first two games before dropping a close 4-3 loss to West Hillhurst.

Lethbridge began the weekend with a Friday night, 8-3 win over the U19AA.

Katie Welch and Alyssa Hall scored three goals each and Leah Gates and Rylie Hart added singles.

Taryn Glimpel had three assists.

The Pronghorns improved to 2-0 Saturday thanks to a 4-2 win over the University of Calgary as Welch, Alyssa Hall, Sarah Hall and Hart scored for Lethbridge.

But a 3-0 weekend wasn’t in the cards for the Horns as league-leading West Hillhurst notched the close win.

Alyssa Hall, Sarah Hall and Sophie Tsougrianis were the Lethbridge goal scorers.

Next up for the Pronghorns are provincials March 6-8 in Rockyford.
