The Lethbridge Hurricanes will continue their homestand tonight and look to snap a losing skid in the process.
The Canes host the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League play tonight at 7 p.m. at the Enmax Centre.
Lethbridge looks to get back in the win column following a 6-3 setback to the Spokane Chiefs Wednesday night for their third straight loss that puts them at 34-15-2-5.
The Hurricanes remain in second place in the Central Division, but have fallen 10 points back of the Edmonton Oil Kings, who handed the Canes a 5-3 loss Monday in Edmonton. Lethbridge is up four points on the third-place Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Warriors (12-38-4-0) come into town having gone 0-8-2-0 in their last 10 games.
They are led by Ryder Korczak, who has 15 goals and 59 points in 54 games. Owen Hardy has 22 goals and 35 points in 45 games.
With goals in Wednesday’s loss to the Chiefs, Hurricanes forwards Logan Barlage and Brett Davis have each hit the 20-goal mark.
This is the fourth-and-final meeting between the two teams this season. The Canes have won the previous three games.
The Hurricanes continue their home stretch Feb. 28 against the Oil Kings and Feb. 29 against the Brandon Wheat Kings.
