DEANNA MAE (BENNETT) TAMTOM
An extraordinarily bright star shone among us for a time but now has moved on to the next realm. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Deanna Mae (Bennett) Tamtom. Arriving 31 March 1940 – Departed 10 July 2013
Leaving behind her beloved Eternal husband Michael, children Michele D. (fiancé Allan), Leslie J. (Debbie), Linda K. (Grant) and Michael S. (Shelley).
Also left behind to remember her are 12 grandchildren, some with spouses, and 12 great grandchildren (2 more on the way).
Deanna also leaves her sisters Bernice and Jean, as well as brothers Don and Ron to carry on without her. Her siblings Eldon, Nedra and Delmar preceded her home to Father.
We are positive that her parents Marlin Leslie and Eliza (Wolsey) Bennett were there to greet her at this transition.
Deanna fought hard to the end with the battle against the cancer that finally took her. Always a fighter for the right and a very caring spirit, she always comforted those that needed comfort, laughed with those who had joy and cried with those that mourned. She was a very selfless leader in her own indomitable way. Many will remember her compassionate service regardless of her own needs and time commitments. Her duties in the church and serving in the temple were always fulfilled with unfailing detail and kindness. There are no words to convey to mere mortals the love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grands. Family was everything to her.
There never was nor ever will be again as bright a spirit as hers. We, her husband and posterity will be forever grateful that we had the distinct pleasure of her presence for a time and cannot wait to take our place in the circle of chairs she will have waiting for us when it’s our time to come home.
Rest well for we are at peace.
