Learning moves out of the classroom

Staff across Palliser Regional Schools are busy sharing and preparing for the continued education of the division’s students outside of the usual classroom. As a result of the new realities brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, traditional, in-class learning isn’t a possibility.

Staff at all Palliser schools are working on the most effective way to meet the specific needs of their own students through alternate means of delivering the best education possible.

Before that can happen, families were contacted and arrangements were made for students to safely gather up personal belongings from lockers.

They also picked up new resources, including tech devices if required, for the learning opportunities ahead. Schools are also being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and ongoing procedures put in place, to allow for a safe working environment for teachers, and students upon their return.
