Nonprofit/
charitable organizations, in a time of social and physical distancing, consider if your organization has opportunity to engage virtual volunteers. Could you use a volunteer to assist with writing letters or grants, responding to emails, editing videos, designing a website, making greeting cards, ramping up your social media, being a translator, developing some marketing strategies, bringing virtual music to seniors, developing online activity kits for children or being a tutor? All of these are possible through virtual volunteering.
Volunteers, if there is a specific organization you are interested >in, check their website for a listing of opportunities and see if they have any virtual volunteering, or call them and let them know your skill set and see how you might be able to assist them from home. >
To everyone in the community, thank you for supporting each other during this pandemic. The more information sharing, communicating and collaborating we do, the stronger our community will be. Stay safe, stay healthy. >
