Jazz & Blues Festival cancelled

The Lethbridge Jazz Society board of directors has decided to cancel the upcoming 2020 Lethbridge Jazz & Blues Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2020 iteration would have been the 10th anniversary of the festival and organizers were looking forward to the many great artists who were scheduled to perform at this event, it was noted in a release. While disappointed, the board said it recognizes the essential role social distancing plays in reducing the spread and support the current actions to limit the impact of COVID-19.
The board added it is looking forward to spending the coming months planning the 2021 festival and thinking about the ways to improve the festival in future years.
