The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) is gearing up to welcome back the community to its galleries, at a limited capacity, next Wednesday.

SAAG is prioritizing the health and safety of its staff, visitors and the community, and are encouraging individuals and families to register for gallery visit time blocks online.

People who are over the age of 55, or those who consider their health status vulnerable, are encouraged to visit the gallery during the first hour of the day, and for the general public to attend after. Face masks are also encouraged during the hour-long visit to the gallery.

The SAAG has increased its cleaning practices, installed hand-sanitizing stations, added a sneeze guard to their Visitor Services area, and implemented social distancing markers throughout the building.

Please do not visit the SAAG if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. If you have any questions about safety and wellness precautions before your visit, contact Visitor Services at 403-327-8770 or online at saag.ca.
