LMHA tryouts scheduled to begin this weekend

The Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association has announced its tryout dates for the coming season.
That starts this weekend with the Lethbridge bantam AAA Val Matteotti Golden Hawks, beginning today and running until Tuesday at the ATB Centre.
On-ice sessions today are 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the ATB Centre and 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Nicholas Sheran Arena.
The rest of the sessions are at the ATB Centre.
Sunday’s ice times are 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and on Monday at 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
COVID-19 protocol for players and parents will be followed accordingly.
The U15 bantam AA tryouts begin Aug. 31, followed by the U18 midget AAAs Sept. 1 and the U16 AAA and U16 AA midget 15s Sept. 8.
The U22 junior females begin tryouts Sept. 9.
The U18 midget AA tryouts are slated for Sept. 8 with the U13 peewee AA, U15 bantam AA female and U18 midget AA females starting Sept. 12.
The U15/U18 bantam and midget female, the U13 peewee female and the U11 atom female camps are Sept. 19.
Also Sept. 19 are the U15 Tier I bantams, the U13 peewees and the U11 atoms.
The Central Alberta Hockey League bantam tryouts start Sept. 23 with the U18 CAHL midgets following Sept. 26.
Also starting Sept. 26 are the U13 City peewees, the U11 City atoms and the U9 novices.
The Timbits-Initiations begin Oct. 3.
The Little Canes-Learn To Play, Become an Olympian and First Shift start dates are to be determined.
