Northside roads closed for utility repairs

LETHBRIDGE

A pair of northside roads are closed so the City can work on sanitary service and water main repairs.

Effective immediately, 23 Avenue North will be closed between 17 Street and 18 Street so crews can work on an emergency sanitary service repair.

This work is expected to be completed by Friday, weather permitting.

As this road closure may impact a Lethbridge Transit route, call 311 during business hours about possible stop closures and/or scheduling adjustments.

Also effective immediately, 28 Street North will be closed to northbound traffic between 2 Avenue and 2A Avenue so crews can work on an emergency water main repair.

This work is also expected to be completed by Friday, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in both areas and follow posted detours.
