LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Fall is in the air and with that comes the closure of the outdoor pools and City spray parks.

Both the Gyro Spray Park, located behind Nicholas Sheran Arena and the Rotary Fountain in Galt Gardens are slated to be shut down for the fall and winter season on Tuesday.

Henderson Pool’s last day of operation will be Monday. The facility will be open holiday Monday from noon to 7:30 p.m., weather permitting, and all visitors must pre-book online at aquatics.lethbridge.ca. Henderson Pool which is owned by the City of Lethbridge and operated by Recreation Excellence, has been open to the public seven days a week since July 19 after a delayed opening due to COVID-19.

Westminster Outdoor Public Pool, run by the Westminster Neighborhood Association, had its last day of public swimming on Aug. 29.

Both outdoor pools will reopen in June 2020.
