For the first time in over a year, Lethbridge College is ready to re-open its Recreation Services to the public.
Beginning Monday, the fitness centre, Val Matteotti Gymnasium, squash and racquetball courts, dance studio and other amenities will once again be available for bookings by Lethbridge College alumni and community members.
“We are so excited to welcome everyone back to our campus and into our facilities,” said Todd Caughlin, manager of Kodiaks Athletics in a release.
“We want to thank everyone for their patience throughout this pandemic as we worked to keep our campus safe for our students and employees. Our community members and alumni are an important part of our culture, and it is great that we can now bring them back to campus and our top-notch facilities.”
However, there are some changes for users as the facility gets ready to re-open its doors
All workout blocks, court rentals in the Val Matteotti gymnasium and squash and racquetball courts must be booked in advance through lcfitness.ca with no drop-in times available.
All users must also fill out a COVID-19 waiver on lcfitness.ca prior to every use of the Recreation Services facilities.
In an effort to keep all users healthy and safe, enhanced cleaning of all areas will continue between workout blocks and the use of masks while moving around the facility will be highly recommended.
To learn more or to book workout times or court rentals, visit lcfitness.ca or call 403-382-6903.
