Adjournment in impaired driving causing death case

A woman accused of impaired driving causing the death of a pedestrian earlier this month has had her case adjourned.
Counsel for the accused, Shannon Good Striker, appeared in Lethbridge provincial court on Tuesday to ask for an adjournment of the case to Sept. 21 to review disclosure from the Crown.
A woman died as the result of a pedestrian motor vehicle collision on Aug. 1. Lethbridge police responded to a collision shortly after 10 a.m. near 12 Ave. South along Mayor Magrath Drive. Police say a southbound truck struck a female pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the Chinook Regional Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
As a result of the investigation into the collision Shannon Good Striker of Lethbridge was charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing death with blood alcohol over .08 MG per cent and dangerous driving causing death.
