Peter Dueck
1947 – 2021

Pete Dueck of Lethbridge and formerly of Morden, MB passed away August 27th, 2021, at the age of 73.
He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 4th, 1947, and moved to Canada with his family when he was 7. He grew up near Gnadenthal, MB.
He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Maria Dueck, a set of twin sisters, brothers Abe and Jake Dueck, and sister, Agatha Whitman. He is survived by his daughter Trish (Stan) Wong, and their daughters Calista and Kalia from Lethbridge, son Jason (April) Dueck and their children Jaden, Emma and Sara from Coaldale. He is survived by siblings, Cory Dueck, Isaac Dueck, Mary Wiebe, Nettie Derksen, Betty Fehr, Ann Fehr, Marge Siemens, Tina Horsman and many extended family members.
He worked as a Finish Carpenter for most of his career in Morden, MB. He enjoyed golf and travelling in his Mustang. He retired to Coaldale, AB to be closer to his grandchildren whom he adored.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the COALDALE CEMETERY, Coaldale, AB.

James Kaizer

1937 – 2021

Mr. James Kaizer of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery.

Robert “Bob” Larson

1946 – 2021

Mr. Robert “Bob” Larson of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Jean Larson, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the age of 75 years.

Bob was born and bred in Lethbridge. He loved all sports and played slow pitch winning the city championship in 1977. Later he took up golf. He was a member of Picture Butte Golf Club and played league and weekends for many years. He was a faithful fan of the Lethbridge Bronco’s and Hurricanes, frequently calling GM Peter Anholt to offer his advice. Bob joined Black Velvet Distillery in 1973 and stayed until his retirement in 2007.

Bob is survived by 2 sisters Joan Ennis of Edmonton and Carol Shimek of San Francisco.

He leaves to behind to grieve his passing his two daughters Karen Larson Mckinstry of Lethbridge and her two sons Robert and Connor, Sharon Cambridge of Airdrie and her husband Derek and their two children Mackenzie and Larson.

He was predeceased by his parents Clara and Clarence Larson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta with Reverend Steve Bateman, officiating.

KORINE MARIE MANY BEARS, of Stand Off, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the age of 74 years.

A Wake will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. till 11:00 P.M. with Martin Eagle Child officiating.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Wilton Goodstriker officiating.

Following the service, Korine will be laid to rest in the Many Bears Family Plot.

VERNON CLARENCE NEUFELD, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of Ruth Neufeld, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Saviour in St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit on August 21, 2021 at the age of 87 years.

We invite you to the celebration of Vern’s life on what would have been his 88th birthday at the COALDALE MB CHURCH, 2114 – 18 Street, Coaldale, AB, on Wed, Sept 1, 2021 at 1:30 PM. Following the service, Vern will be laid to rest in the Coaldale Mennonite Cemetery.

MELVIN SALWAY TAGG, beloved husband of Wilma Hansen Tagg, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 4:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel, 355 3rd St. W., Cardston.

Friends may meet the Family on Saturday from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.
