LCI dominates the house in Lethbridge City High School Curling League play

By Lethbridge Herald on January 29, 2022.

The Lethbridge City High School Curling League drew to a close last week at the Lethbridge Curling Club.
When the final stone was delivered, it was LCI’s “I Wet The Sheets”, consisting of Rhett Whittmire, Jenna Powell, Yisan Jan and Jade White that captured the League championship.
The LCI foursome went undefeated and topped a field of LCI domination with that school also grabbing second, third, fourth and fifth place in the finals.
The schools will now form new competitive teams and start their run for the provincial title.
That starts Monday and Tuesday and Feb. 7 at the Lethbridge Curling Club with the City Playoffs.
Teams from all over southern Alberta will come to Lethbridge for Zones Feb. 11-12.
LCI will then act as Alberta Schools Athletic Association curling provincial hosts March 3-5 at the Lethbridge Curling Club at the ATB Centre.
