The Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s volleyball team scored the weekend sweep, but the Kodiaks women’s team fell one game shy of a 2-0 showing.
The Kodiaks men downed the Ambrose Lions 3-1 in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference play Saturday night in Calgary.
The victory came 24 hours after the Kodiaks’ similar 3-1 win over the Lions to kick off the weekend Friday night at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

On the women’s side, the Kodiaks opened the weekend with a 3-1 win Friday night in Lethbridge, but fell 3-1 Saturday night in Calgary to sit at 6-3 this season.
That puts them into a tie for second in the South with the Lions, who improve to 6-6 with the win.
