Terri Clark is ready to celebrate Christmas in Western Canada.
Medicine Hat native Clark, the only Canadian woman in the Grand Ole Opry, will hit the Enmax Centre on Dec. 1 on her “It’s Christmas…Cheers! Tour.”
Ron Sakamoto, who has known the much-loved entertainer since she was 12, said tickets will go on sale Friday.
Her concert will feature her hits and holiday favourites.
“Christmas has always been my favourite time of year. I released my first Christmas album in 2020 so this year is the first opportunity that I’ve had since then to play some of these holiday favourites live. I’m very excited to bring some Christmas ‘Cheers’ and a few familiar markets in Canada this year,” said Clark in a press release.
The tour starts Nov. 24 in Moose Jaw and includes a stop Dec. 2 at the Esplanade in Medicine Hat.
Clark is a three-time Juno Award winner who has sold more than five million albums in her stellar career. She has earned 19 awards from the Canadian Country Music Association and in 2018 was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.
