PILLING, Karen Karen Ann WALTON PILLING Born in Calgary, July 30, 1947 passed peaceful May 20, 2023 in Cardston, Alberta.
Known for her beautiful smile and bright countenance, she was a good friend to many people. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors reflected in her love of all kinds of animals, gardening, including carpentry, building a greenhouse or pen.
From the city, making it in the country. There was nothing she couldn’t or wouldn’t do and a generous lady too. Her love of music let the sun shine in, always facing it with a grin.
“Happy Day” Reunion, as how much she’s missed her daughter, Valerie Ann, passed a long 10 years ago. Also joined by other dear family, that meant everything to her.
Saddled up, riding now by her side, her cowboy, Dale C Pilling (October 4, 2020) over their hills and mountains of Paradise.
We already miss you both a lot!! Till we see you and hug again —
Left to honor our Country Folk’s legacy, 19 grandchildren, who dearly miss her, as she was a wonderful Grandma. Proud to carry on, Kristine (Brad) Reagh (Cardston), Cheryl (Murray) Millward (Cardston), Bronc and Lori Pilling (Leavitt), Tyler and Jodi Pilling (Coaldale), Jolaine Pilling (Leavitt).
