The Lethbridge Police Service said Monday they issued more than 100 tickets and removed multiple impaired drivers from the road during Street Machine Weekend.
In a release LPS states they issued 130 tickets with the majority of the tickets issued for stunting and equipment violations.
In addition, there were three Immediate Roadside Sanction (IRS) fails, two zero tolerance for GDL drivers and one IRS Caution, as well as one 24-hour suspension, six vehicles towed, and one warrant executed.
In the release LPS said they recognize the help they received from Alberta Sheriffs throughout the weekend and thank the majority of participants who were respectful of the rules of the road and enjoyed the event responsibly.
