FLYNN-VIELLE (EDWARDS), Kenisha Kenisha Pearl Flynn – Vielle (Edwards) Feb. 28, 1999 ~ Aug. 28, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenisha Pearl, due to a tragic car accident, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the age of 24 years.
Kenisha (Edwards) was born on February 28th, 1999, in Lethbridge, Alberta. Growing up Kenisha was always an energetic and daring young girl, having tried bungy jumping at the West Edmonton Mall and riding roller coasters, even from a young age.
She grew up in Stirling, Alberta where she learned the value of family, friends, and working hard as she pursued academic success. Kenisha would often be a trusted babysitter among the community. Growing up, she enjoyed playing many sports, including basketball, (in which she attended several local camps for the sport), as well as volleyball.
Kenisha was always very attentive and caring, and as such made an excellent friend and support in the lives of so many around her. She worked hard as a waitress and when she wasn’t at work she loved to be around her friends and family, particularly her younger siblings, who she enjoyed playing hide and seek, and bouncing on the trampoline with. Kenisha was known for going out of her way to make sure those who she cared about were always looked after. She was always the centre of laughter and smiles in every room she walked into. As a social butterfly, many people gravitated towards her confidence and upbeat personality, and she could always be counted on to bring laughter, joy and positivity to every situation she encountered.
Kenisha enjoyed traveling and took the opportunity to visit British Colombia and live in the Kelowna region for some time. She enjoyed the mountains of Alberta and British Columbia as well as trips to the United States where she visited friends and family when she got the chance. Kenisha will be remembered and missed as the positive, joyful and courageous individual she strived to be by all who knew her.
