REWERS, Lyle REWERS Lyle T. Rewers, beloved husband of Nicollette of Raymond, passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 47 years.
Friends may meet the family prior to the service on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

O’DONNELL, Brenda BRENDA LEE O’DONNELL 1963 – 2023 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Lee O’Donnell, who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 60 years.
Brenda was born on January 19, 1963, to loving parents Ronald George Olshaski (deceased) and Myrna Fay Olshaski. Brenda lived most of her life in Taber and Lethbridge marked by boundless enthusiasm, unwavering courage, and an insatiable appetite for new experiences. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and cherished memories.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Myrna Fay Olshaski; husband Michael Robert O’Donnell; son Alexander Ronald Bosch, daughter Kelly Bridget O’Donnell; brother David Brian Olshaski (Anna) as well as other extended family members.
Throughout her life, Brenda made a significant impact on the lives of those around her. She was known for her kindness and generosity. Her warm smile and open heart made her a beloved figure among family and friends.
In her free time, Brenda enjoyed a myriad of interests, such as cooking, crafting, and traveling. She approached each endeavour with boundless energy and creativity. Brenda excelled in her skills as a homemaker, thriving on having people around the table to feed and entertain. She had a special talent for making everyone who entered her home feel welcome and cherished. Whether it was a comforting meal, a listening ear, or a heartfelt conversation, she always made you feel special. She found solace and joy with her pets, often sharing these moments with her loved ones. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious, and she encouraged others to embrace their passions as well.
Brenda touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on those who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. May Brenda rest in eternal peace and her spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Brenda with close family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charitable organization of their choosing in Brenda’s memory.
Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.

NAYHA, Helen HELEN NAYHA 1932 – 2023 Helen Nayha passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Chinook Regional Hospital. She was laid to rest on Thursday, August 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Helen leaves behind her two children, Jim Nayha, Colleen (Gord Scully) Nayha, her granddaughter Erin (Ryan) Falkenberg, and her two great grandchildren Aislin and Coen Falkenberg.
Helen was born on February 9, 1932 in Lethbridge, AB, to Joseph and Agnes Warzuta. She married Willie Nayha in 1952 and moved to the family farm in Picture Butte where she resided until her death. Helen enjoyed cooking and baking and was an avid crocheter. Helen also loved having visitors and those who knew her knew that the coffee pot was always on.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, husband Willie and brother Stanley Warzuta. She was the matriarch of our family and will be greatly missed.

BLACKWELL, Hilary BLACKWELL It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Hilary Blackwell on September 5, 2023 at the age of 90 years, in Raymond, Alberta.
Hilary was born in Yorkshire, England on May 31, 1933 to Madge Knowles Blackwell and Clifford Harry Blackwell. They travelled to Alberta when he was 15 and worked on a farm North of Edmonton.
Hilary is survived by Marlene Harris Blackwell, the love of his life. Together they were blessed with six children; (Boyde) & Jean, (Pam) & Scott, (Lynnette) & Kevin, (Sandra) & Mark, (Clifford) & Mary and (Madge) & Don. Their posterity grew to have 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 2.30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (27 Cobblestone Lane) Raymond, Alberta.

JASS, Jan JASS In loving memory of an unforgettable man and wonderful husband and father. JAN JASS passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 after a valiant effort for life, with his beloved wife by his side, at the age of 85 years.
