Lethbridge MMA fighter Shannon Clark will look to add to her already impressive career with the Legacy Fight Alliance when she steps in the ring tonight in western New York.
Clark will fight Brazilian Thaiany Lopes for the LFA Flightweight Championship in the 125-pound category during LFA 177’s co-main event in Niagara Falls, New York.
Clark’s pro MMA record is 4-0 since her professional debut in 2022 in her hometown, and she ranks second out of 38 western Canadian and ranked fourth out of 63 Canadian women in her category according to Tapology.com.
Clark made her pro debut on Oct. 1, 2022, at Unified Mixed Martial Arts Rumble in the Cage 63 in Lethbridge, beating veteran Jackie MacLean of Kelowna by a technical knockout at the 1:50 mark of the third round.
On Dec. 17, 2022, in Unified 49 at River Cree Resort and Casino, she stopped Jo Maisonneuve of Ottawa at the five minute mark of the second round.
Clark then beat Tanya Nijjar through punches at Rumble in the Cage 65 last June and then defeated Nejra Repp in LFA 170 through a unanimous decision in October.
The other fight in the main event will see Devin Smith fight two-time Russian national wrestling champion Shamidkhan Magomedov for the Welterweight title in the 170-pound category.
The 205-pound Light Heavy Weight bout will be between Joe Taylor and Gabriel Thimoteo
The women’s 135-pound bantamweight bout will be between Sierra Dinwoodie and Hope Chase and the 185-pound Middle Weight bout will go down between Liam Anderson and Maurice Morris.
LFC 177 can be seen on UFC Lives Pass tonight beginning at 7 p.m.
