The Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs varsity didn’t get the result they wanted in the back half of the series with the Okanagan College Coyotes on Friday.
The Coyotes took the first game 3-0 followed by a 3-2 win in the second game respectively.
OC scored three runs in the fifth in the first game.
The Coyotes’ Teagan Ribbink pitched a complete game seven innings, while only allowing three hits and striking out nine PBA batters.
PBA’s Jake Maniago also pitched a complete game while allowing three runs on five hits and striking out seven batters in the losing cause.
Justin Scott and Aldo Rojas scored in the second game for PBA.
PBA’s Cody Graf only pitched two innings, giving up three runs on two hits and striking out three in the losing cause.
Anthony Wyslobocki pitched a complete game, giving up two runs on five hits for the Coyotes.
PBA’s record dropped to 10-10 on the season with the losses.
The Dawgs conclude the road trip with three games at University of Fraser Valley Cascades today.
