Foodie Fest returning to downtown

It is almost the food lovers’ favourite time of the year again – Foodie Fest is quickly approaching and with a week-long celebration residents will have various opportunities to delight their tastebuds.

The festival kicks off on May 28, by giving those in attendance an opportunity to explore local food truck offerings and complimentary samples from participating downtown brick and mortar restaurants.

On May 29, the festivities continue with a free pancake breakfast served fresh and hot, accompanied by hot coffee from The Penny Coffee House.

On May 30, residents can take part in a Latin America Street Party along 6 Street South, with festive ambiance on patios, while enjoying various Latin American foods.

On May 31 residents can enjoy a night market in Festival Square, where they will have the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of local vendors and live entertainment.

On June 1, The Downtown History & Beer Tour will be taking place and tickets can be purchased as either a guided or self-guided tour through four downtown restaurants.

Lethbridge Downtown BRZ announced in a press release that Foodie Weekend features a massive giveaway for all food lovers. They just need to dine in downtown Lethbridge and snap a photo of their receipt and submit it to their online form, to enter for a chance to win exciting prizes, including a $500 downtown giveaway and exclusive gift baskets.
