The Lethbridge Bulls failed to gain some ground on the Okotoks Dawgs with a 9-7 loss in Okotoks on Tuesday night during Western Canadian Baseball League action.
Scott Hansen had solid night at the plate for the Bulls as he went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and RBI, while Kalem Haney went 3-for-4 with a run scored.
Carlin Dick went 3-for 5 with three RBIs.
Brandon Carter took the loss for the Bulls after pitching an inning and giving up three runs on three hits in relief of starter Jimmy Boulanger.
The Bulls (33-17) will look to get back on track when they travel to Sylvan Lake to take on the Gulls tonight.
Lethbridge is trailing the Dawgs by three games in the division for second place with six games to go in the regular season and both clubs will end with a home-and-home against one another.
