Judy taught school before she married. She was very particular about spelling and punctuation. She was one of the very few who could tell you the rules for the use of “me” vs. “I.” Her desk was filled with books of completed crossword puzzles up to her final year.
She farmed with Roger east of Claresholm for all her farming life.
Mom/Gram/Aunt Judy had interest in people particularly, her immediate family and extended family. She had amassed a century of knowledge. Judy knew everyone’s birthdates and wedding anniversaries from memory. She regularly sent out birthday cards to grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When we were unsure of a person’s date of birth, we just had to consult her and we got the correct answer every time.
She prayed regularly for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
